Finger Lakes Wine Alliance is proud to announce the hiring of Stephanie Jarvis as Program Manager. Ms. Jarvis will be overseeing the organization’s annual program of work to further enhance the positive image of the Finger Lakes wine industry. The Program Manager position is new for the Finger Lakes Wine Alliance. Ms. Jarvis will be working directly with the Finger Lakes Wine Alliance board of directors and the president of Finger Lakes Wine Country Tourism Marketing Association, two organizations that are now linked with the creation of this position.
“I think with the newly developed synergy between Finger Lakes Wine Alliance and Finger Lakes Wine Country and the creation of my position, the programs and benefits offered through the Alliance will prove to be successful,” stated Ms. Jarvis. “I am very passionate about Finger Lakes wine and very excited and honored to have the opportunity to represent such a beautiful wine region.”

The Finger Lakes Wine Alliance is an independent, self-funded organization of wine producers that provides an ambitious suite of go-to-market programs for Finger Lakes wines,” explained Bob Madill, Chair of the Finger Lakes Wine Alliance. “In Stephanie Jarvis as our first, full-time Program Manager, we have the talent, dedication and professionalism that will ensure that our programs continue to build the national reputation of the Finger Lakes as North America’s preeminent cool-climate region.”
Ms. Jarvis joins the Finger Lakes Wine Alliance team after her position as Hazlitt 1852 Vineyards’ Marketing and Communications Coordinator. While at Hazlitt 1852 Vineyards, Ms. Jarvis was responsible for web-based marketing including managing the winery’s web site, email campaigns, and social media marketing. In addition, Ms. Jarvis assisted in public relations efforts, marketing and brand management.
Ms. Jarvis holds a Masters of Business Administration from Rochester Institute of Technology and Bachelors degree in Business Administartion Concentrating in Marketing and Sports Management from Keuka College. Ms. Jarvis hails from Horseheads, NY.
The mission of the Finger Lakes Wine Alliance is to increase the visibility and reputation of the Finger Lakes Region and its wineries. The Alliance was incorporated as a not for profit corporation in the spring of 2004. The board of directors is representative of the Finger Lakes AVA and the Finger Lakes region which includes 14 counties as defined by New York State.
