Quintessential, the fine wine import, sales, marketing and distribution company with a roster of 16 family-owned wineries from all over the world, has hired Joshua DeVincenzi Melander to direct sales efforts in San Jose and the South Bay in California.

Melander, a native of San Jose, worked for a number of wine importers and distributors prior to joining Quintessential, including Henry Wine Group and Siena Imports. He also has on-premise experience, working at Unwined Wine Bar, the most successful wine bar in the South Bay.

A member of various Italian-American cultural organizations and San Jose civic groups, Melander has a BS in Communications from San Jose State University.
