Global Package Hires Hunter Harris as New Sales Rep
Global Package LLC announced the recent hiring of Hunter B. Harris as the company’s lead sales representative for California. Harris will represent the full range of Global Package’s wine and spirits products throughout the U.S., as well as assist in new account development. Harris comes to Global Package from Trefethen Family Vineyards, where he was a wine educator, working with wine and food pairing in general, and specifically on the attributes of Trefethen wines. In that role he consistently exceeded sales quotas for the winery.
“Hunter comes with well-rounded experience in wine production and wine and spirits distribution,” says Erica Harrop, founder and president of Global Package LLC in Napa, CA. “His skills give him an uncommon understanding of packaging needs and branding requirements to get product noticed on the shelf.”
Prior to his position with Trefethen, Harris was a sales representative for Slocum & Sons in Hartford, CT, where he was recognized for his ability to sell wines on their quality and merit. He also worked for Mumm Napa and Clos du Val, in Napa.

Harris has a post-baccalaureate education from Cornell University in hospitality management after studies in philosophy at Columbia University and a Bachelor of Arts from Wells College in economics with a concentration in environmental economics.
