Quintessential Hires Mindy Jorgensen to Handle Midwest Sales
Quintessential Wines, the import, marketing and sales company representing top-quality family-owned wineries from around the world, has hired Cru Communications and Consulting, owned by Mindy Jorgensen, to represent the fine wine importer in the Midwest. She will handle sales and promotion in the Prairie states of Kansas, Missouri, Oklahoma and Arkansas, working closely with Quintessential’s distributors there to ensure that the company’s many imported and domestic labels are given the attention they deserve. Jorgensen will report to Quintessential’s Western region vice president of sales, Jill Stacey.
Born and raised in Independence, Missouri, Jorgensen has nine years’ experience in the wine and spirits industry, six of those years as a fine wine manager with Missouri distributor Major Brands. She earned a Master's in communication and leadership from Park University in Missouri and graduated Summa Cum Laude with a B.A. in communications from the University of Central Missouri. Jorgensen has passed the introductory level of the Master Sommelier course and the CSW. She lives in the Kansas City area with her husband and two children.
