Michelle Berger Promoted to Director of Direct to Consumer Sales at Inman Family Wines
Inman Family Wines, an artisanal producer of Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Pinot Gris from the Russian River Valley, has hired Mike Sai as marketing director and promoted Michelle Berger to director of direct-to-consumer sales in an effort to keep pace with a rapidly expanding business.
"I have run Inman Family Wines as a one-woman-operation since founding the winery in 2002," says winemaker and GM Kathleen Inman. "Today marks the next chapter in the winery's history."
Berger joined the Inman Family Wines team in January 2012 as direct-to-consumer operations manager. In her new position, Berger will manage all direct-to-consumer sales, with a focus on client loyalty and retention. This will include wine club, tasting room, e-commerce and retail channels. Prior to joining Inman Family Wines, Berger worked in direct-to-consumer sales for 10 years in various high-net-worth industries providing luxury products including private jet charter, jewelry and wine.
"I believe Mike Sai and Michelle Berger have the skills and talent necessary to bring Inman Family Wines to the next level," says Inman. "Michelle, who joined last year, has already made an enormous impact on our sales operations and in this expanded role, she will oversee further improvements in customer service. Mike has been a wine club member here for years and will undoubtedly bring fresh ideas and perspective to our business. I am thrilled to have Michelle and Mike on my team."
