The Hess Collection Winery has appointed Derrick Bailey as Southeast Regional Sales Manager, responsible for such key states as Georgia, Alabama, Tennessee, the Carolinas and Mississippi. He will report to Chris Ireland, Vice President Eastern Division, and be based in Atlanta.

Bailey is a native of Atlanta with two decades of experience in professional beverage sales and management for some of the world’s most recognized beverage brands.

His wine experience includes positions at Diageo Chateau & Estates Wines, where he served as a
market manager in Boston and Rhode Island, and most recently as an Area Manager for Treasury Wine Estates in Georgia and Alabama.

Earlier, he held a variety of increasingly responsible sales management positions at Pepsi Cola North America, Perrier Group of America and Coca-Cola USA.

Bailey earned his BA from The University of Georgia, where he also was a Letterman and defensive lineman on the Georgia Bulldogs football team. Each year he joins with other team alumni to host the Travis Jones Football Camp focusing on developing the fundamentals of football, teamwork, sportsmanship, discipline, and the importance of goal setting and life skills for promising and deserving youth athletes in middle Georgia.
