San Francisco Wine School has added two more instructors, Rebecca Chapa and DLynn Proctor, bolstering its faculty as it diversifies its curriculum and opens enrollment for its winter California Wine Appellation Specialist™ (CWAS™) and French Wine Scholar (FWS) wine programs.
DLynn Proctor has spent years in fine dining, opening and consulting in several restaurants, and managed the wine cellars and education programs of The Halstin Group, Sambuca Restaurant Group, Wells’ Hospitality Group, Thirteen 26 Ventures, and Wolfgang Puck Fine Dining Restaurants. He has worked alongside many of the world’s greatest chefs, such as Michael Mina, Daniel Boulud, Thomas Keller, Masaharu Morimoto and Charlie Palmer. Proctor received his Advanced Sommelier Diploma in 2008 and has passed both the Theory and Service portions of the Master Sommelier exam.
“San Francisco Wine School is excited about bringing Rebecca Chapa and DLynn Proctor aboard,” says founder and chief education officer, David Glancy. “Rebecca and DLynn’s diverse, broad-ranging backgrounds and credentials will further round out our faculty and improve our ability to offer a broad range of wine certification programs.”
