With over 15 interactive events, the seventh annual Martha’s Vineyard Food & Wine Festival will include cooking demonstrations from acclaimed chefs like the blue-haired Jason Santos and Vineyard’s own Chris Fischer of The Beach Plum Inn. Food and wine events will headline chefs Christopher Coombs, Will Gilson, and Rachel Klein, and the Vineyard’s Judy Klumick; as well as wine personalities Joseph Carr, Aimee Cronin, Lisa Kaplan, Dan Michaud and Dominick Purnomo.
This year’s festival features four signature events:

Diners will serve as both judge and jury, selecting the ultimate winner. Vote for one of these featured sommeliers Dominick Purnomo, owner of dp, an American Brasserie and the Chef-Sommelier & Maitre d’hotel of Yono’s Restaurant, Joseph Carr, Napa Valley Vintner, recognized as “The Negociant of the Napa Valley,” and lastly Dan Michaud, founding MVF&WF wine partner and Grand Tasting Master of Ceremonies.

IGS comes under the Island Grown Initiative umbrella and is the Vineyard’s farm?to?school program which seeks to raise a new generation of Vineyarders who are connected to local farms and farmers, empowered to make healthy eating choices, informed about the food system, and engaged in growing food for themselves and their families.
