Hoffman Family Cellars' "Headbanger" Brand Designated as "The Official Wines of Shiprocked 2014"

img 1(Sonoma, CA) - Hoffman Family Cellars and Ask4 Entertainment announced the electric “Headbanger” brand will be the official wine of Shiprocked 2014 (http://www.shiprocked.com). This four-day cruise features over 15 National Hard Rock Artists performing to a crowd of 3,000 diehard fans. “This is the perfect opportunity to showcase our wines and get up close with the most loyal music fans on the planet,” says Paul J. Hoffman, owner and zinmaker of Headbanger.

Alan Koenig, owner of Ask4 Entertainment and creator/producer of Shiprocked, stated, “The Headbanger Brand and the people behind the wine matches our passion for music and having a great time. We are thrilled to bring our guests quality wine that reaches in and touches their soul just like bands we are featuring.” Over the four days, Headbanger Wines will be poured at each show, in dining venues, and in the VIP lounge. There will even be a “Headbanger” stage featuring several of the bands.

“This program fits perfectly within our national promotion strategy,” Hoffman said. “Our goal of speaking directly to the consumer started our partnership with National Recording Artist, Digital Summer (who will be featured on the cruise), and continues with events like Shiprocked. These events create memories of a lifetime and an incredibly loyal consumer for years to come. The participating Bands and Artists have a social media interaction that opens a marketing platform to several consumer demographics way beyond the traditional scope of the wine industry reach. More details including promotional elements with distributors, retailers, and consumers are forthcoming and will be done in true “Headbanger” fashion.

Hoffman Family Cellars owns and makes four wine brands (Headbanger, 401K, Curveball, Atmosphere) and has two tasting rooms, one on The Historic Sonoma Square and the other on Treasure Island in the San Francisco Bay. In addition the wine brands the company has two clothing lines, Napa Valley Surf Club and Keep Sonoma Weird. Headbanger is the official wine sponsor of national recording artist, DIGITAL SUMMER
