Spelletich Family Wine Co. Opens Tasting Room
by Alan Goldfarb

For the first time in 20 years, the Spelletich Family Wine Company has opened its first tasting room. “It’s a game changer for us,” said Kristen Spelletich, the 33-year-old director of operations. “We’ll now be able to engage our customers directly and share our enthusiasms. It’s a whole new level.”

Spelletich Family Wine Company and Crush94. recently moved their headquarters into a new 16,000-square-foot facility. It’s situated in the Napa Commons in south Napa, 10 minutes from downtown. Spelletich adds to the expanding wine-centric neighborhood that includes Patz & Hall, Trinitas Cellars, and Falcor, and is within walking distance from the Meritage Resort and Spa.

Daguerreotype-like photographs fill the spacious modern tasting room that will accommodate small and large groups and large functions.

The Spelletich Family released their first wine in 1994. Now the family produces four different brands: Spelletich Cellars, 3 Spells, SPELLwine and Prix Fixe; all small lots. The new tasting room will be open seven days a week by appointment only with different levels of tastings, one being a spice-infused chocolate wine pairing. The hand-crafted gourmet chocolates are by Feast it Forward and Kollar Chocolates out of Yountville, California.

The Spelletich tasting room can be reached at 707-775-7300 or at info@spellwine.com.
