Candoni Wines Partners with the Arbor Day Foundation to Help Replant National Forests

Date: 05/02/13

Atlanta, GA (April 29, 2013) Candoni Wines is teaming up with the Arbor Day Foundation to help replant trees in our national forests. During the months of April and May, Candoni is sponsoring a Facebook campaign which aims to gain support to plant 500 new trees. Candoni commits to plant 1 new tree for every 10 new Facebook likes Candoni receives.

This campaign is to take place during the months of April and May in honor of Earth Day and National Arbor Day, which are both celebrated in April. Candoni is continuing the campaign one additional month in hopes of reaching as many supporters as possible to achieve its goal of planting 500 trees.

Catastrophic events such as recent devastating forest fires, damaging insects, and deadly diseases have all created an urgent need of more trees in the national forests. Candoni wants to help.

Candoni greatly values our environment. We want to take care of the Earth for current and future generations. Our environment offers us the air that we breathe, beautiful scenery, natural resources, and habitats for many creatures. Candoni desires to give back to the environment and help ensure that growth of these resources continues for many years to come.

Candoni produces two organically grown wines, Candoni Merlot and Candoni Pinot Grigio. The grapes of these wines are harvested in soil that has been completely freed of any synthetics chemicals including herbicides, pesticides, and insecticides. Candoni offers the eco-conscious drinker a healthy, organic alternative.
