The Wine Compliance Academy formally launched their first selection of compliance courses starting Spring 2013.
The Wine Compliance Academy (WCA) will be half-day classes held at the WCA office starting in spring 2013. The curriculum will range from compliance basics to file organization to winery operations reporting. The goal isn't to encourage organizations to take their compliance in-house, the goal of the WCA is to educate on the importance of compliance.
“Let’s be honest, if the industry really knew the scope of what they “should” be doing, they would probably outsource to a compliance professional immediately. With the maze of compliance regulations growing each year, I feel it has never been more important to begin educating the wine industry on not only the importance of compliance but also on the how-to’s,” Drea Helfer, founder of DH Wine Compliance, said.
The WCA’s full course listing and registration is available online at www.winecomplianceacademy.com or by calling 707-528-8500.
