A San Francisco private equity firm announced May 15 it has made a significant investment of growth capital in the Washington winery DeLille Cellars and purchased the Oregon winery Panther Creek Cellars.

Canoe Ridge Vineyard is back, thanks to a Seattle company that rescued the longtime Walla Walla winery.

In a move that strengthens its position in the Oregon wine industry, New York-based private equity firm Bacchus Capital Management said Wednesday it has purchased the well-regarded Panther Creek Cellars wine brand, which is based in McMinnville.

Naked Winery is opening a 1,400-square-foot tasting room in Bend's Old Mill District, where it will feature its Vixen Syrah, Foreplay Chardonnay and other bottles that winery President David Barringer said in a statement "aim to tease!"
