A formal tasting and wine pairing lunch was held April 8 at Saxon + Parole in New York City, showcasing Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay and Zinfandel from the Dry Creek Valley and Washington state.

From Leslie Glassman, Bacchus Capital Management:

Celebrated winemakers Chris Upchurch of DeLille Cellars, Red Mountain and Yakima Valley, Washington state and Ed Sbragia of Sbragia Family Vineyards, Dry Creek Valley, Sonoma, California showcased favorite library wines and current releases. DeLille’s vertical tasting (2006, 07, 08) of its Grand Ciel Cabernet Sauvignon met with rave reviews as did Sbragia’s renowned 2007 Monte Rosso Cabernet Sauvignon and classic Gino’s Zinfandel.
