Women for WineSense holds events to promote and educate women working in the wine industry – and they also provide scholarships to support women pursuing education and careers in wine and raise funds for local and national charities.

The Napa/Sonoma chapter's next event will be held at Gloria Ferrer Caves and Vineyards on Wednesday, February 20, from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.  

According to the press release received today:

“Bubbles, Brix and Buzz II” adds a virtual tasting to the festivities, offering Women for WineSense members nationwide, as well as interested tweeters, the opportunity to participate via tweet chat, using the hashtag #WWS-GloriaFerrer as well as the opportunity to purchase Gloria Ferrer’s wine at a discount the night of the event only.

Gloria Ferrer VP of Marketing Eva Bertran will speak about their wines. There will also be a raffle and silent auction to benefit Women for WineSense's annual scholarship fund.
