Late last year, we noted here that Red Blotch had been identified as a new vineyard issue and that growers were encouraged to report symptoms. It's a hot topic. It's a big problem. But there's been some good initial progress. Scientists from Cornell and UC Davis recently reported the discovery of a new grapevine virus they beleive to be responsible.
