Job Summary:
Reporting to the VP of Sales, Marketing & DTC, The Director of Hospitality works with Guest Experience Manager and Visitor Center team, Guest and Member Services, Sales & Marketing, culinary, winery operations, HR, legal, and finance to deliver a world-class guest experience and grow our direct-to consumer business. This position is both operational and strategic, responsible for managing day-to-day business for the tasting room, culinary program, events and wine club areas while providing financial oversight and the implementation of strategies, programs, systems and processes related to these business units.

What we will ask you to do:
•  Lead the overall performance of our hospitality business, including tasting room, culinary, events, and wine club, balancing daily execution with long-term strategic growth
•  Own financial planning and performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and ongoing analysis to drive revenue growth and profitability
•  Partner cross-functionally across DTC, marketing, culinary, operations, HR, and finance to deliver a seamless, high-quality guest and member experience
•  Develop and evolve guest experiences and customer journeys to increase visitation, conversion, and lifetime value
•  Drive innovation in hospitality programming, introducing new experiences, formats, and offerings that keep the brand fresh and relevant for both new and returning guests
•  Expand our reach beyond the winery, developing and executing events and experiences “on the road” to build brand awareness, deepen relationships, and drive DTC demand
•  Build, lead, and develop a high-performing hospitality team, with a focus on coaching and accountability and company culture
•  Oversee events and culinary programming, ensuring experiences align with brand standards and achieve revenue and profitability goals
•  Establish and uphold service standards, systems, and processes to ensure consistency and excellence across all guest touchpoints
•  Use data and insights to evaluate performance, optimize experiences, and improve decision-making across the business
•  Strengthen external partnerships (concierge, tourism, and destination partners) to expand reach and drive visitation
•  Champion sustainability practices and support company-wide initiatives that reflect our commitment to responsible operations

Physical Requirements:
•  Ability to work in standing position for extended periods of time.
•  Ability to stoop, lift and carry 40 lb. cases of wine.
•  Ability to stand; walk; sit; use tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance, kneel; talk or hear; taste or smell. Sufficient digital manipulation skills to utilize a computer keyboard.

What you should bring to the table:
•  10+ years of leadership experience in luxury hospitality, winery, restaurant, or resort environments, with a proven ability to deliver high-quality guest experiences
•  A strong business and financial mindset, with experience managing budgets, analyzing performance, and driving revenue and profitability
•  Demonstrated success building and leading high-performing teams, with a focus on coaching, accountability, and culture
•  A track record of developing innovative guest experiences and programming, including the ability to introduce new formats that drive engagement and growth
•  Experience executing or supporting off-site events and market-based activations, extending a brand beyond its physical location to build awareness and deepen customer relationships

Pay Transparency Notice: The salary range offered for this position is $125,000.00-$140,000.00. This salary range represents what we anticipate to pay for this position. However, actual compensation will be determined based on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to qualifications, skills, experience, and education. The Company reserves the right to modify this salary range at any time.
