DTC Outbound Sales Associate

Job Description:

At Peju, we strive to be the highlight of every guest’s visit to the Napa Valley and our Outbound Sales Team is fundamental in creating positive and memorable experiences for our clients who cannot visit our winery. The Outbound Sales Associate focuses on building relationships via phone; offering promotional events, wines and outstanding customer service. To be successful in this role, you will need the initiative to make telephone calls, and have an uplifting, professional and gracious approach to sales and customer relations. We are seeking someone who enjoys outbound phone sales, hospitality, wine experiences, and strives to be the top salesperson in any company. Other duties as assigned.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

•  Execute outbound phone calls for sales and relationship building with the customers and club members.
•  Follow up with customers, nurturing leads, and maintaining ongoing communication.
•  Provide excellent customer service to ensure customer satisfaction and resolve any post-sales issues or concerns.
•  Review customer profiles and their purchasing preferences to be able to establish a personal connection.
•  Capture inbound sales via telephone and internet with the ability to upsell.
•  Contact guests to update personal information and offer information on our newest wine promotions.

QUALIFICATIONS:

•  A high school diploma or equivalent prefer candidates with a college degree, especially in fields related to sales, marketing, or business.
•  Entry to 3 years’ experience in outbound phone sales or telemarketing is preferred.
•  Entry to 3 years’ experience in using CRM software, email, and other sales-related tools.
•  Entry to 3 years’ experience to operate in AMS, Wine Direct or C7 preferred
•  Proficient in basic computer skills including but not limited to Microsoft Teams & MS Office suite of applications such as Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
•  Possess a gift for closing sales.
•  Resilience and the ability to handle rejection positively.
•  Effective time management skills to efficiently handle multiple calls, follow-ups, and administrative tasks.
•  A self-motivated and goal-oriented mindset, with a focus on achieving sales targets and meeting quotas.
•  Demonstrate excellent judgment, discretion, and strong attention to with the ability to produce highly accurate results with minimal supervision.
•  Maintain a consistently positive attitude and demeanor in the workplace.
•  Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
•  Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
•  Ability to build and enhance internal and external customer relationships.
•  Ability to learn new systems and procedures.
•  This will be a hybrid role, so you must be willing to work from our Rutherford winery.
•  Regular and predictable punctuality and attendance.
