Mendocino Winegrowers and Enartis Present: An Informational Session on BluVite Commercial Trials with 2nd and 3rd Year Project Data
Please join us for an informational workshop on BluVite! This session will be a brief overview of BluVite trials in local North Coast AVA vineyards.
The 2020 vintage presented some challenges to winegrape growers in the North Coast AVA with an overall reduction in vineyard resilience attributed to extreme weather conditions such as drought and excessively high temperatures.
In this presentation, Enartis USA's Viticulture Specialist, JT Jaeger, will discuss a case study where we explore heat/water stress and how a soil microbial application has shown to improve vine resiliency through these heat events. We investigate this using infrared thermography, plant water status, and analysis of grape quality and yields.
There will be a 15 minute question and answer portion of the session where the audience has the opportunity to ask JT their questions.

What is BluVite?
BluVite by BluAgri was developed as a multi-purpose product for all vine varieties for use in both mature vineyards and new plantings. Due to its particular composition and origin, BluVite helps facilitate the biological mechanisms that reactivate the unique microbiome of the vine and surrounding vineyard soils. Moreover, the processes of selection and interaction between the vine-specific microbiome and the soil are activated, with evident effects in the emission of secondary roots and strong adaptation to the biotic and abiotic stresses of the plant. BluVite is exclusively distributed by Enartis in North America.
