Herrick Grapevines, Under New Management

November 6th, 2015 - Saint Helena, California – Bob Herrick, Owner and President of Herrick Grapevines, is pleased to announce a new chapter for his St. Helena grapevine nursery.

Herrick Grapevines, which was established in 1997 will now be under new management and a new company structure. With this announcement, Herrick introduces the addition of Diego Barison and Ofelia Hurtado to his team.

Diego Barison will serve as General Manager of the company. He has over 20 years of grapevine nursery experience and over 16 years in sales and in management of nursery operations. Barison obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Agronomy and Masters in Plant Pathology. He has extensive knowledge of French, California and Italian varieties and clonal selections. Barison is looking forward to bringing his expertise to this new venture and plans to continue Herrick Grapevines’ reputation as a hallmark name in the industry.

Ofelia Hurtado, began her career in the grapevine industry in 2009, but has been around agriculture in the Sacramento Valley of California her whole life. Hurtado has a Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations & Marketing and she will serve as the Administration and Customer Relations Representative – Hurtado has experience in grapevine sales, customer relations, production planning and inventory control.

Herrick Grapevines is confident this new venture will be a success with its new arrivals in the company. Most importantly, they hope to bring new options and confidence to grape growers in receiving clean grapevine material.
