Team Scott Laboratories Complete 2nd Annual Tour de Cure Diabetes Fundraising Ride

Posted on May 26, 2015

Petaluma, California, May 26, 2015 – Team Scott Labs completed their second annual Tour de Cure fundraising ride on Sunday, May 3. With 96 riders, the team raised an impressive $63,500 toward diabetes research and funding. This topped last year’s fundraising amount by almost $7,000. The team plans on making this an annual community event.

The team’s large fundraising total was made possible in part by the generous support of several sponsors, including: Napa Barrel Care, TricorBraun Winepak, Oztera, C-line Trucking, ICAS, Relvas, Velo Acciai and Heritage Systems.

Starting at the Veterans Home in Yountville, the ride offered distances of 10, 25, 50, 80 and 100 miles. All riders were required to raise a minimum of $250.00 that went directly to provide community-based education programs, protect the rights of people with diabetes and fund critical research for a cure.
