Posted on May 19, 2011

Emmeti is a world leading company producing bulk container palletizers and depalletizers (at both floor level and upper level), which can be used to both sweep and pick & place layers of product, with decades of proven ability . Emmeti also offers a machine that can palletize or depalletize both cases and bulk glass (or other containers) on the same machine.

Beth Zarnick-Duffy, Sales Manager of Emmeti USA, says, “Emmeti understands the ever evolving wine market, therefore we offer factory automation solutions that will accommodate your company‘s current production, as well as future growth.”

Emmeti is an Italian manufacturer of container handling equipment with state-of-the-art technology and high flexibility, which no other company produces or offers. Emmeti has been a worldwide supplier since 1979; we have tremendous experience in the glass container industry. Emmeti knows that approximately 80% of wineries currently receive bottles in cases. Most of the time depalletizing these cases is a manual operation. Most wineries opt to disregard the original cases, or if they choose to use the same case again, handling it several times often jeopardizes the quality and durability of the case: however the most critical point is LABOR. Emmeti offers a cost effective bulk depalletizer, with an attractive small footprint and the flexibility to work within a company’s floor space constraints.

Emmeti produces bulk container palletizers and depalletizers which can be used to both sweep and pick & place layers of product. The sweeping head is designed to be quickly and easily replaced by a gripping head to pick and place containers onto a pallet.

This system allows users to handle the widest range of bottle shapes and sizes, thus to provide the ability to perform job changes with no tools or change parts when using the sweeping mechanism, and to allow the handling of reverse tapered bottles onto tier sheets or into trays when using the gripping head system. Emmeti has decades of experience successfully handling reverse tapered bottles!

Some other key products from Emmeti include:

· “The Mobile” robotic case palletizer - easily installed on any line and moved to any other lines by forklift according to customer’s need in less than 1 hour. Max production speed: 10 cases/ min.

· One single machine, capable of both bulk and case depalletizing for “mixed” products from glass plants (bulk pallets and case pallets) – equipped with independent case/bottle outfeed conveyor.

· Automatic adjustment of side guides for our conveying lines (or we can retro-fit existing conveying lines). Adjustment for entire line can be carried out in a few seconds from a control console.

Emmeti container handling systems boasts a reputation of maximum reliability and low maintenance. Our customers rely on Emmeti’s equipment 24 hours per day, 365 days per year. We offer training; support and customer service that will meet or exceed your expectations. Our engineers have decades of experience incorporating the most advanced technical features and latest automation advancements to reduce labor costs and provide high reliability at prices that are very competitive.
