VingDirect Announces New and Improved VingPortal (Tasting Room and Benchmarking Performance Tracker) Featuring the Largest DTC Library for the Wine Industry
Sebastopol, CA – VingDirect today announced the launch of their new and improved VingPortal. The
VingPortal features a Tasting Room Performance Tracker, Benchmarking dashboard tool, and Resource
Library. This online tool provides wineries with results- driven data and is now enhanced to provide new views and additional resources for VingDirect members.

Exclusive to VingDirect winery members, the automated online tool downloads data directly from wineries’ POS systems and is accessible from any computer or mobile device with internet access.
Using the benchmarking dashboard tool, wineries gauge their tasting room as compared to VingDirect
winery members. Wineries can now benchmark using a zip code filter and distance from their tasting room. New features include a sliding scale range for annual taster count and average retail bottle price.
“We heard from wineries the desire to reliably benchmark their tasting room performance against other tasting rooms near them. By adding the zip code filter and mileage range, wineries are now able to see how their neighboring tasting rooms are performing,” says Lindsay Kana, Director of Sales & Marketing. “We now have 55-member sites, and we want to lead with the latest technology to ensure our members are meeting their direct to consumer goals.”
Another feature unique to VingDirect members is the largest DTC library in the wine industry. Within the VingPortal lives a “Resource Library” with over 81 downloadable documents and recorded webinars. “This library is literally a wealth of information for our members,” says Lindsay Kana. “We record our monthly webinars and upload them directly to the portal for our members to view. The topics range from wine club to outbound phone sales and are always focused on DTC.”
