Universal Packaging Adds more Warehousing Space

Posted on April 05, 2012

Universal Packaging Corporation just completed their third expansion of their main operating plant in Vernon B.C. with the addition of an additional 6500 square foot high level warehousing facility.

“With this needed addition, we will be able to add a further 65,000 cases of Wine or Liquor bottles on site to help supply our exploding 'One Stop Shop' supply program to Wineries, Distilleries and Micro Breweries all over North America," said Mac McLellan, President and CEO. "We are being inundated with calls from clients from all over North America, (New York - Florida – Texas – California etc.), who want to deal with a proven quality supplier for all of their high end packaging. Having in excess of 125,000 cases on site allows for stable production and lots of options for our clients. It will also assist us in our rapidly growing “Plain Glass” supply program where we now service hundred’s of Wineries and Distilleries throughout the Pacific Northwest and mid West with their plain bottle needs.”

Universal is a unique package supplier in North America as they are the only high end Decorator who supplies quality Glass bottles, Printed Cartons, Screen Printing, Frosted bottles, Closures, T-Tops, Capsules, Freight and Warehousing – the full package.

This main facility, combined with Universal’s other five warehousing locations allows them to provide the quality level of service their clients need to compete in such a competitive market place.
