Elypsis Releases Real-Time, Integrated Connectivity To Cellarpass Reservation System

Posted on July 13, 2010

Cellarpass, the reservation system for booking winery tours and tastings online, has announced it has entered into a partnership with Elypsis to enhance its web-based reservation service with the Elypsis Retail ReservationIntegrator. Winery customers who use the popular Microsoft Dynamics RMS Point of Sale (RMS) and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems will now have instant access to consumer-related reservation details from Cellarpass.

Elypsis is a Microsoft RMS value-added reseller located in Napa, California. CellarPass is the only wine industry reservation system to offer real-time integration with the popular Microsoft product.

The integration eliminates the need for re-keying the vital visitor information that wineries use to build customer relationships long after the tasting room visit. With the certification of Elypsis Retail ReservationIntegrator, wineries can now greet a guest, check them in, charge their tasting or event fees, execute on-site retail sales and future wine club offerings – without ever having to ask the customer for a credit card or contact information because CellarPass provides all the details to complete the transaction.

"What we like about CellarPass’ reservation service is the fact that it allows us to sync directly to their reservation database and load guest details seamlessly into the Microsoft RMS database. By eliminating the need to re-key the consumer's information, including their encrypted credit card data, the system allows the tasting room staff to focus solely on the visitor’s wine tasting experience rather than the transaction process," said Harvey Grant, President of Elypsis. "We have received many requests from our clients who want to use CellarPass, and our integration shows Elypsis’ commitment to retaining our industry leadership when it comes to integrated solutions for wineries,” continued Grant. Ryan Grant, Vice President of Retail Solutions, added: “Our goal is to make our clients jobs easier. With the release of the new integration with CellarPass, we are doing exactly that.”
