Synergy Glass & Packaging announces "Envi" line of eco-friendly products

Posted on May 06, 2010

Wine is a premium product that has always demanded high end packaging. Historically this has meant glass bottles, cork closures, impressive labeling and cartons. Market demand for alternative packaging options that reduce carbon foot print, and landfill space continues to grow. Consumers expect solutions that are significant... economically viable, and sustainable.

Synergy Glass & Packaging Inc. offers fine quality glass containers and packaging solutions to wineries and fillers in California. Synergy continues to supply traditional packaging options but has recently created its Envi line of products to satisfy the growing demand for eco-friendly packaging alternatives. Synergy's Envi line consists of:

1. Light weight bottles to reduce the amount of glass and energy costs per item.
2. Bottles with threaded closures as an alternative to cork.
3. Kraft cartons with water based ink printing.
4. Use of slip sheets as an alternative to wooden pallets.

Synergy's CEO Vaina Wang says "The Envi line of products demonstrates our commitment to environmental concerns and listening to our customers.... but beyond this, there are also very sound practical and economic reasons why the Envi line makes sense."

Synergy Glass & Packaging Inc. provides fine quality glass containers and packaging products for wineries in California. Additional products and services include: custom mould and carton design, custom carton printing, Warehousing and storage, knowledgable after sales support.
