WineXRay Offering Fire Relief Resource

Posted on October 20, 2017

This just in across the newsdesk:

We are grateful to so many of our wonderful partners who are offering a variety of resources to vintners who may need production assistance. The following is a resource opportunity from WineXRay.

WineXRay provides measurements of the concentrations of selected families of phenolic compounds present in red wines.

They can provide results for a single sample of red wine of unknown variety, vintage, or origin, or they can analyze multiple samples from the same variety, vintage, and origin, to better understand and qualify initial grape quality, adherence to cellar protocols, or manage and maintain a wine's stylistic thumbprint.

To all wineries who have lost power or access or both, and have red wines in tank on skins, WineXRay is offering free phenolic scans and advice to those affected.

"We can determine the amount of extraction in your macerations and help you successfully complete this difficult harvest. WineXRay is here to help."
— Scott McLeod, Gianni Colantuoni: Co-Founders WineXRay LLC.
