Wright Global Graphics Invests $1.5 Million in Equipment

THOMASVILLE, NC – As part of the growth of its food packaging division, Wright Global Graphics Solutions, a leader in packaging and marketing solutions, announced it has made a $1.5 million investment in an eight color Mark Andy P5 to meet the demands of the rapidly expanding food and beverage industry. The new press streamlines the label printing and finishing process and allows the company to quickly and efficiently provide customers with the printed product labels needed to stand out on retail floors.

“Over the last several years, we have increased staffing and production capacity in our roll label division to better serve the food and beverage industry. The investment in this new equipment is another part of our strategic plan to better cater to the demands of the sector after seeing its recent boom in growth,” said chairman and senior vice president of business development Don Wright. “Our expanded capabilities will bring customers the ultimate in graphic flexibility to help them stand out in a crowded marketplace, coupled with affordability so they no longer have to compromise design excellence for cost considerations.”

Wright’s Mark Andy P5 press significantly reduces set up time between print jobs and improves productivity levels, while also adding a range of highly demanded features like cold foil stamping and inline screen-printing. The new press will also allow the company the ability to produce shrink sleeve labeling, one of the fastest growing branding techniques in the industry today.
