POSITION SUMMARY:

This position is responsible for working with our network of agents and their respective sales teams across Quebec and the Atlantic Provinces, forging relationships with both Liquor Board and On-Premise customers. The District Manager role is expected to inspire, educate and set expectations with our agent partners for growth and success.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

•  Call on all key accounts within Quebec and the Atlantic Provinces. Accounts may include on-premise, off-premise, and hotel. Key Accounts determined by JFW management, agent partners and the JFW DM.
•  Work with agency sales personnel to achieve sales goals. Goals may include new placements, revenue, case shipment and depletions goals.
•  Manage Importation Privee/Private Stock Inventory Levels along with executing IP Sales goals.
•  Develop and continue to build relationships with our various agent partners.
•  Provide weekly and monthly reports on supporting activities to JFW Manager.
•  Perform quarterly and annual business reviews with both JFW Managamnet and agent partners.
•  Provide educational wine training to agent partners and key accounts through tastings and special events.
•  Construct unique and engaging wine presentations and sales tools that embrace JFW company standards, programs and initiatives.
•  Ability to make persuasive sales calls using wine knowledge, ROI, margins and pour costs.
•  Create, prioritize and manage your own territory of key JFW accounts.
•  Communicate pertinent information between JFW Management, Agent Management and Key Accounts.
•  Responsible for managing and working within approved expense budget.
•  Ability to effectively present one-on-one or in a group setting.
•  Continue to develop wine knowledge, business acumen and sales skills to increase professional growth.
•  Display original thinking and creativity for problem solving.
•  Ability to work in a fast paced environment, adapt and respond to change quickly.
•  Other duties as assigned by JFW Manager.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

•  Candidate must have a college degree and/or equivalent work experience with a minimum of 5 years successful wine and alcoholic beverage sales experience
•  Familiarity with Liquor boards and key on-premise customers
•  Fluent in French, both spoken and written
•  Great communication and organizational skills
•  Must possess a current driver's license, maintain current auto insurance coverage, and a clean driving record
•  Ability to lift 50 lbs. case of wine
•  This position requires the availability and willingness to work flexible hours and weekends, when necessary
•  Candidate must be prepared to reside within territory

Le role de Responsable de Territoire est d'inspirer, d'eduquer et de definir les attentes de nos agents partenaires en matiere de croissance et de succes.

TaCHES ESSENTIELLES / RESPONSABILITeS:

•  Faire appel a tous les comptes cles du Quebec et des provinces de l'Atlantique. Les comptes peuvent inclure detaillants et clients licencies; restaurants et hotels. Comptes cles determines par la gestion de JFW, les agents partenaires, et JFW DM.
•  Travailler avec le personnel des ventes de l'agence pour atteindre les objectifs. Les objectifs peuvent inclure des nouveaux placements, les revenus, l'envoi de caisses et gestion des stocks.
•  Gerez les niveaux d'inventaire d'Importation Privee et les objectifs d'execution des ventes IP.
•  Developper et continuer a tisser des liens avec nos differents agents partenaires.
•  Fournir des rapports hebdomadaires et mensuels sur les activites d'appui au responsable de JFW.
•  Realiser des revues commerciales trimestrielles et annuelles avec la gestion de JFW et ses partenaires.
•  Offrir une formation viticole educative aux agents partenaires et aux comptes cles lors de degustations et d'evenements speciaux.
•  Construire des presentations uniques et engageantes de vin, et des outils de vente qui respectent les normes, programmes et initiatives de JFW.
•  Aptitude de faire des appels de vente convaincants en utilisant la connaissance du vin, le retour sur investissement, les marges et les couts.
•  Creez, hierarchisez et gerez votre propre territoire de comptes cles.
•  Communiquer des informations pertinentes entre la gestion JFW, ses partenaires, et comptes cles.
•  Responsable de la gestion et du travail dans les limites du budget de depenses approuve.
•  Capacite a presenter efficacement en tete-a-tete ou en groupe.
•  Continuer a developper la connaissance du vin, le sens des affaires et les competences en vente afin d'accroitre la croissance professionnelle.
•  Afficher une pensee originale et de la creativite pour resoudre les problemes.
•  Capacite de travailler dans un environnement en evolution rapide, de s'adapter et de reagir rapidement aux changements.
•  Autres taches assignees par le responsable JFW.
