Foxtrot Vineyards Seeks Farm Worker
March 15th through November 15th 2020
Foxtrot Vineyards is one of the premier producers of Pinot Noir in Canada, nestled on the Naramata Bench in British Columbia.
Foxtrot is seeking two full-time seasonal vineyard workers for 40-60+ hours/week. Start date, March 15, 2020, end date November 15th, 2020. Must be available to work all weeks, including frequent Saturday and some Sunday work, within the period.
Job duties will include all aspects of vineyard work including pruning, tying, suckering, shoot thinning, grape picking at Harvest, etc. at our home vineyard in Naramata, and any contracted vineyards which are nearby.
Work is physically demanding, with repetitive tasks, working outdoors in all conditions.
Education requirements: None
Experience: Vineyard experience preferred, but not required.
Wage: Minimum Wage of $13.85 cnd per hour which increases on June 1, 2020 to $14.60 cnd per hour. This position is for a Farm Worker as defined by the Employment Standards Regulations for BC and will be compensated following the guidelines of the Employment Standards Act.
