Winery Manager, Sales and Operations

Job Description:

Small-mid sized winery in central Okanagan, focusing on premium wine production. Looking for a talented individual to run daily operations of the winery and manage all sales & marketing efforts.

Job Position: Winery Manager, Sales and Operations

Ideal candidate must have:
- Strong knowledge about the wine and liquor market and Canadian wine industry
- Experience in running a business (ideally a winery)
- Direct and honest approach
- Professional level of wine knowledge
- Knowledge of BC liquor law and LDB regulations
- “Can be done”, “will be done”, and positive attitude
- Independent, but also a team player
- Target-oriented and motivated
- Proven track record
- Able to work under pressure
- Most important, ideal candidate must be hands-on (not just a “manager")

Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Day-to-day operations of the winery
- Business and financial planning
- General staff management
- Inventory management
- Regulatory (LDB, LCBO)
- Complete sales management of the winery
- Order system and POS management
- Social media, advertisements, media outlets, and website management
- Responsible for the whole wine presentation and marketing
- Product design
- Customer relationship management
- Search for new market opportunities
- Participate in tasting room management duties
- Providing exceptional and professional customer care and public relations
