Posted on July 31, 2018

July 31, 2018 (Paso Robles, Calif.) - Hope Family Wines has appointed Tina Pantoja as Division Vice President, National Accounts On Premise, leading its efforts to expand their footprint across the country. With her extensive experience and proven track record, Pantoja will help advance the company’s vision and grow the Hope Family Wines business in the National Accounts on premise channel.

“I’m excited to be part of this family owned company with such deep roots in Paso Robles”, Pantoja said. “The premium nature of this portfolio is all about quality, and lends itself to the on premise channel. I look forward to bringing these wines to the national account universe.”

Pantoja has a long history in the wine business and brings a wealth of knowledge in building and developing a national account presence across all US markets. After her distributor career in the on premise division, she went on to work several roles with Kendall-Jackson, Corterra Wines, Francis Coppola Winery/Rubicon Estate, and most recently Purple Wine Company, where she served as the Vice President of National Accounts, developing Purple’s National Account division from the ground up.

“Tina has incredible knowledge of this channel and will undoubtedly help us grow our business,” said Austin Hope, Owner/Winemaker of Hope Family Wines. “She shares our passion for the Paso Robles region and a drive to expand our footprint in the National Accounts on premise channel throughout the country."

ABOUT HOPE FAMILY WINES

Rooted in a vision to grow grapes and make great wine in what was once a little-known wine region, Hope Family Wines makes a variety of offerings that reflect the unique terrain and exceptional environmental assets of Paso Robles. It is the producer of Treana, Liberty School, Troublemaker and Austin Hope wines, including the newly released premium Austin Hope Cabernet Sauvignon from Paso Robles.

The Hope family arrived in Paso in 1978, embarking on a new adventure in the early days of the California wine industry. Chuck Hope, head of the family, followed his dream by planting grape vines, becoming one of the region’s largest growers of Cabernet Sauvignon by the late 1980s. He also worked to put Paso on the map – literally – playing a key role in the establishment of the Paso Robles AVA in 1983.

Chuck’s son Austin followed in his father’s footsteps, pursuing a life in the wine business and leading the family’s transition in 1995 from growing grapes to making wine. The Hopes initially produced Liberty School and Treana from their winery in Paso Robles and have created new offerings over the years – many of which have received 90+ scores from such publications as Wine Spectator, Wine Enthusiast and Robert Parker’s Wine Advocate. For the family, what is most gratifying is continuing to work toward their vision – to make wines that reflect all that Paso has to offer and inspire people to be as excited about the region as they are.
