Sonoma Valley Vintners & Growers Alliance Elect Eva Bertran as 2011 Board President
The Sonoma Valley Vintners & Growers Alliance (SVVGA) non-profit trade association representing over 90 wineries and 140 grape growers announced today that Eva Bertran of Gloria Ferrer Caves and Vineyards has been elected to lead the organization as board president for 2011.
"I am excited to be the president of the SVVGA board. We have a great board in place and a committed membership and staff. As a team, we cover a cross-section of growers, vintners and different aspects of our business and look forward to a very exciting year in 2011," said Bertran.
Other board officers elected include Paul Hoffman of Hoffman Family Cellars as Vice President; Mark Stornetta of Alain Pinel Realtors re-elected as Treasurer and Mike Pucci of Sangiacomo Vineyards re-elected as Secretary. New 2011 board directors in addition to officers are Brian Shepard of Jack London Vineyards and Doug Nickle of Bennett Valley Cellars.
