“I feel very fortunate that I get to stay in the wine industry with a California winery while living in Ohio. Having lived and worked in the same region where the grapes are grown and the wine is made gives a great perspective and connection to the brand,” said Claire.
About Gregory James Wines
Gregory James Wines are produced and bottled in Healdsburg, California. Founder, Jim Demuth, began producing Gregory James Wines after experiencing a Zinfandel from the Dry Creek Valley in Sonoma. This was a doorway into the world of small production specialty wines. After initially focusing on producing Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, Jim’s original love of Zinfandel inspired him to secure partnerships with old vine Zinfandel vineyards in the Dry Creek Valley. His love for more full-bodied wines compelled him to branch out to one of the best Cabernet Sauvignon vineyards in the Napa Valley. The rural Sonoma and Napa communities remind him a lot of his Ohio roots: down-to-earth agriculture with a dab of sophistication.
