Gianni Acireale joins Quintessential in the newly-created position of Vice President, National Accounts
Napa, CA – Fine wine import, sales and marketing company, Quintessential, has expanded its roster with the addition of Gianni Acireale in the newly-created position of Vice President, National Accounts. He joins the company as it continues to invest in portfolio expansion, unsurpassed customer support, and the tenacious development of high-quality brands.
Gianni comes to Quintessential after more than twenty years in the wine and spirits industry.
Based in Winter Garden, Florida, he will manage on-premise national accounts business while also working with the off-premise national accounts team to grow distribution. In this new position, Gianni is expected to make a valuable impact in growing a key segment of Quintessential’s business through his experience, contacts and leadership.
The Florida native holds a B.A. in Business Administration from Jacksonville University. He spent his first four years in the wine and spirits industry working for a boutique wine importer in the Orlando area, where he built a $200,000 territory into a million dollar one in just over two years. He also started developing his expertise in chain sales by working with the largest account in Central Florida.
Gianni became a Certified Sommelier through the Court of Master Sommeliers around the same time he moved into a management role, hired to build a fine wine portfolio for a well-known Florida distributor, adding seven million in sales from supplier business.
According to Dennis Kreps, co-owner of Quintessential, “We’ve increased our presence across the country by continuing to invest in our team to support our family owned-and-operated wineries from around the world. We expect that Gianni, in his role overseeing National Accounts, will quickly become a valuable addition to growing our business and supporting Quintessential’s salesforce and customers.”
