Felipe Gonzalez-Gordon Joins Colangelo & Partners as Chief Operating Officer
NEW YORK, NY, May 20, 2020 – Gino Colangelo, president of Colangelo & Partners (www.colangelopr.com), announced today that industry veteran Felipe Gonzalez-Gordon joins the agency as chief operating officer and partner. “We’re thrilled to add Felipe to the industry’s top team of fine wine and spirits PR professionals,” said Colangelo. “Felipe will add valuable expertise and experience to benefit our current clients as well as spearhead the development of our business in Spain and Latin America.”
Gonzalez-Gordon holds a BS in Business Management. He spent the earlier part of his career in the financial industry and with several entrepreneurial ventures before joining his family’s company, Gonzalez Byass, in 2001 (Felipe currently serves on the company’s Board of Directors). He worked for years developing international markets for Gonzalez Byass before leaving the family business and founding a consulting company, Parallel 36, to help clients develop routes to market in the US. His consulting company also helped find importers for clients, execute on and off-premise promotions, expand distribution and help companies place their brands in restaurants and retail. Felipe also managed large institutional marketing campaigns aimed at moving wines and spirits off the shelves.
