Winners Announced for Sommcon San Diego Young Leaders Scholarship for Wine and Spirits Industry Professionals

San Diego, Calif.—SommCon®, a leading Southern California conference for wine and spirits professionals and serious enthusiasts, held in San Diego, CA, November 13-15 has announced this year’s winners for the Young Leaders Summit Scholarship program Presented by Tasting Panel / The SOMM Journal, Kistler Vineyards and Treasury Wine Estates.

The 12 aspiring professionals, all under the age of 30, will receive complimentary conference registration to SommCon San Diego. These young leaders will experience three days of education and industry insight and will have the opportunity to network and taste alongside some of the industry’s top experts in wine and spirits.

Through the Young Leaders Summit Scholarship, recipients grow their knowledge and develop their palate by participating in tastings, panel discussions, and keynote presentations. Recipients have multiple opportunities to expand their skill set and network with today’s most acclaimed wine professionals. The winners for this year’s Young Leaders Summit Scholarship are:
