Terlato Wines Hires Michael Cerio Supply & Operations Expert

NAPA, CA (January 28, 2019) – Established in 1947, fourth generation family owned and operated Terlato Wines today announced appointment of industry veteran, Michael Cerio to the role of Vice President, Wine Supply & Operations, responsible for vineyard and winery operations in Washington State and California, as well as supply chain planning, production and logistics operations.

Most recently, Cerio was Vice President of Operations for The Wine Group, responsible for winery operations in Sonoma, Coastal California and Australia. Prior to The Wine Group he held senior operations and supply chain positions at Treasury Wine Estates and Diageo.

Sandra LeDrew, COO of Terlato Wines said, “Mike joins us at a pivotal time in our growth as wine producers. With the development of new brands and acquisition of vineyards, our family owned operations are becoming more complex. We realized we needed an expert – not only in the area of supply operations, but in strategy development, integrated business planning, logistics and procurement – to guide us in our next level of growth. I have previous experience working with Mike and I am certain his business acumen combined with his ability to develop highly functioning teams will greatly enhance our operations and complement our existing company culture, with the goal of providing efficiency and agility to support our evolution.”

TWG’s family owned operations include Rutherford Hill and Chimney Rock in Napa, Sanford in Santa Barbara, Klipsun Vineyard in Washington and Terlato Vineyards in Friuli, Italy. In addition, they produce several brands including The Federalist, EPISODE, Terlato Family Vineyards, Tangley Oaks and Seven Daughter.
