Quintessential Hires New Controller

Napa, CA — Import, marketing and sales company Quintessential has brought on Cyndy Dalbeck as the company’s new Controller, taking over from Holly Neal, who has retired. Cyndy is an accomplished, hands-on, and detail-oriented professional, with extensive experience on the financial side of the wine industry. She has vast experience as a Controller at distinguished California wineries – supporting management through a transitional change of CFO, Finance Manager and AP/HR staff accountant in a space of 90 days, and also working in roles such as Accounting Manager – where she re-aligned the accounting role within the company; Consultant – where she was involved with fixed asset management, inventory costing, and annual review support; and also as a Cost Accountant for a large winery group in Northern California. She has successfully streamlined processes and supervised staffs while managing Accounting, Payroll, Human Resources, and Benefits and Compliance functions. Born in North Dakota, Cyndy’s travelling began at two years old when her family moved to western Washington State and where she lived for several decades. A graduate of Central Washington University (Bachelor of Science, Accounting), Cyndy reports to Quintessential co-owner Dennis Kreps. She is married with 2 children, and lives in Santa Rosa, CA.
