Emery Long Named to a Sales Position at Quintessential
Emery Long has been named Sales Representative for the North Bay region of fine wine importer, marketer and sales company Quintessential. After graduating from The Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, N.Y. with a Bachelor’s of Culinary Arts Management, Emery completed the Advanced Wine and Beverage program at The Culinary Institute’s St. Helena, California facility, becoming the first alumni of both programs. Emery’s thorough knowledge of wine, coupled with his restaurant experience and working for a boutique wine retailer, has provided him with invaluable experience in sales and in developing relationships with a global clientele in both the off and on-premise sales channels.
Emery also has trained colleagues on supply chain and inventory management, and sales processes. He reports to Quintessential’s Northern California Sales Manager, Walter Inman. Emery lives in Calistoga, where he enjoys running, skiing, and collecting vintage wines.
