Chankaska Creek Ranch & Winery Hires Minnesota Distribution Sales Manager
KASOTA, MN — (March 14, 2016) — Nick Paterson will take over the MN Distribution Sales Manager role. In his new role, he will be charged with oversight of the other account executives and overall sales strategies for Minnesota. "I'm excited for the new challenges that this role will bring and the growth that it will bring to Chankaska Creek Ranch and Winery" said Paterson.
What does this mean for Chankaska Creek Ranch & Winery? “We plan to increase our distribution locations, restaurant locations and bring new products to our consumers. Chankaska has been making strides this year and we don’t plan to stop” said Paterson.
Paterson was born and raised in the Mankato area and graduated from Mankato West High School in 2001. After graduation, he moved to Phoenix Arizona to pursue a business degree at Arizona State University. Paterson found himself working for top golf courses including Desert Canyon Golf Club and Troon North Golf Club in Scottsdale for 5 years. Working in the golf industry honed his skills at building relationships and working as a team.
Paterson was hired at Chankaska Creek Ranch and Winery on a part time basis in 2013 to begin the distribution of our wines in Minnesota. He took to the position right away and was promoted to a full time position to continue building accounts throughout the state. Since then, he has acquired over 150 accounts and helped get Chankaska's distribution to nearly 300 accounts statewide in liquor stores, restaurants, hotels, resorts, golf courses and professional sport arenas. “Needless to say I found my new career as the new MN distribution sales manager at Chankaska Creek Ranch and Winery and love what I do” said Patterson.
