Posted on November 19, 2015

Dijon, November 2015. The School of Wine & Spirits Business (SWSB) team is stronger than ever with the arrival of Roberta Crouch from the University of Adelaide (Australia). She is the new director of the MSc in Wine Business. A remarkable and ideal profile which confirms the SWSB's international ambitions.

Pr Crouch, a leading academic figure in wine business

Roberta Crouch was Director of the Masters of Wine Business and the Chair of the Wine Future Research Cluster in the University of Adelaide. She's heading the MSc in Wine Business with an extensive experience in developing and managing degree programmes, as she already taught, in addition to Australia, in France, Germany, Finland and Singapore.

Professor Crouch's research includes studying wine consumers' behaviour, and in particular in terms of their decision to buy wines from traditional and developing markets. She has received substantial financing to carry out studies on the wine industry, notably on digital strategies, brand development and wine tourism.

13 nationalities in the degree programmes of the SWSB

The new promotion of the MSc in Wine Business has 14 students with 9 nationalities (American, Austrian, British, Canadian, Chinese, Colombian, French, Norwegian and Swedish), while the MSc in Wine Management classes have a total of 41 students from 7 countries (China, France, India, Italy, Kosovo, Russia and the United States).

For its part, the MS CIVS (Specialised Master in International Wine and Spirits Trade), the oldest French post-graduate degree dedicated to wine and spirits management (1988), is welcoming 30 students since early November.
