Mr. Lombardo was instrumental in growing volume and revenue, strengthening the company’s national marketing platform, and establishing the wholesale division as the leader in fine wines distribution in New York and New Jersey.

“It has been an honor and a pleasure to lead Wilson Daniels,” said Jack Daniels, Founding Partner and Vice Chairman, Wilson Daniels. “With Rocco’s proven record of setting strategy, leading teams, and driving long-term growth, he is uniquely qualified to lead Wilson Daniels. Rocco is a strong and experienced executive who will honor Wilson Daniels’ history and further our performance and reputation as a strategic partner to the world’s most distinctive wines and spirits.”

“It is a great privilege to be asked to lead Wilson Daniels,” said Rocco Lombardo. “I look forward to building on the legacy of Win Wilson and Jack Daniels to create and continue partnerships with the world’s luxury wine producers.”

Today’s announcement concludes a transition process that began when Mr. Daniels announced his intention to transition to the Wilson Daniels Board of Directors in May 2015. As Founding Partner and Vice Chairman, Mr. Daniels will continue to play an integral role in strategy, brand planning, and supplier relations.

“We extend our sincere appreciation to Jack for his many years of leadership at Wilson Daniels,” added Chris Underwood. “Jack has been a champion for Wilson Daniels and has positioned it as a strong company poised for long-term growth.”
