Talbott Vineyards announced the appointment of Andrew Abraham to the position of marketing coordinator. In this role, Abraham will work alongside vice president of sales and marketing Matt Viotto to implement the company’s marketing program, with an emphasis on social media and trade and consumer communications. Abraham will also be active in the marketplace, supporting Talbott’s in-house sales team.

A Monterey County native, Abraham earned an associate’s degree from Riverside Community College, as well as a degree in business administration, with concentrations in marketing and entrepreneurship, from California State University, Monterey Bay. He originally joined the Talbott Vineyards tasting room team in March 2010, and since then has contributed in numerous areas of the winery, including production and marketing. Prior to joining Talbott Vineyards, Abraham was an operations manager for Pottery Barn, and a commercial fisherman.

“Andy is a valuable addition to the Talbott Vineyards team,” said Viotto. “He’s bright and insightful, with a great mind for social media, and a wealth of new ideas.”
