New Salesperson Joins Quintessential for East Coast Markets

Quintessential, the family-owned fine wine import, sales and marketing company headquartered in Napa, CA, has added Matthew Demers to its New England area sale team.

Matthew Demers is joining Quintessential as New England Salesperson, covering Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Vermont and Maine. He will be working closely with distributor management and salespeople in those states on behalf of Quintessential’s roster of fine, family-owned wineries, as well as handling all promotional activities for the brands.

Born and raised in New Hampshire, Matt currently resides in Cambridge, MA. He comes to Quintessential after working in a number of other fine wine import companies. His primary focus was with on-premise sales in the Boston market for French, Italian and Spanish wines. Matt graduated from Plymouth State College in MA with a Bachelor of Arts in English/Creative Writing, and received a Masters in Social Work from Simmons College. In 2011, he completed the Advanced Certification of the Wine & Spirits Education Trust with Distinction, and has also worked as a professional photographer.
