2017 Event to Take Place on Friday, September 8th & Saturday, September 9th on the Mendocino Coast of Northern CA


Clay Shannon of Shannon Ridge Family of Wines is getting creative in dealing with the shortage of vineyard labor on the California North Coast. This past weekend Shannon moved 400 head of eager sheep onto Vigilance Vineyards to take care of business.


Bringing fresh innovation to the surging Rosé and Pinot Gris categories, Fetzer Vineyards has introduced newcomer Adorada with two inaugural offerings: a 2016 Rosé and a 2016 Pinot Gris, made from premium California grapes. Crafted in an aromatic style reminiscent of a floral fragrance, Adorada wines are presented in a sleek, wax-draped package designed to emulate a luxury perfume bottle.


Lula Cellars, a limited production, ultra-premium winery located in the Deep End of the Anderson Valley, has appointed Matt Parish, a heralded winemaker and wine executive with more than two decades of global winemaking experience, as their new Winemaker.


Fathers + Daughters Cellars is pleased to announce the release of its fourth vintage, which includes the 2014 Ella's Reserve Pinot Noir, 2016 Chardonnay, 2016 Sauvignon Blanc, 2016 Gewurztraminer and 2016 The Dance (a field blend of the 3 white varietals). The label is also adding to its stable of vineyard-designate varietals by introducing both a hard cider (2016 Apple Kobler hard cider) and a petillant naturel, or pet-nat (2016 Sarah's Rustic Bubbles).


Milla's daughters, Lulu McClellan and Megan Handley Warren, will be co-owners of the winery, with Lulu acting as National Sales Manager. Former co-winemaker Randy Schock will be promoted to lead winemaker.

Lula Cellars -- a limited production, ultra-premium winery located in the Deep End of Anderson Valley, California -- is pleased to announce the release of their newest wine, the 2014 Docker Hill Pinot Noir, in conjunction with the release of three additional 2014 vintages: the 2014 Mendocino Pinot Noir, the 2014 Costa Vineyard Pinot, the 2014 Peterson Vineyard Pinot Noir.


The purchase includes the 13-acre Silverwood Vineyard, an ultra-premium Cabernet Sauvignon and Malbec producing vineyard whose fruit has contributed to Coppola's flagship Archimedes wine for several vintages. Coppola purchased the property from Silverwood Ranch owners Barry and Jackie Hoffner, who've been considered some of the pioneers of the distinguished AVA, and have been instrumental growers in the Coppolas' vast grapegrower portfolio for years.
