Rabo AgriFinance has made a donation to Sonoma State University to establish a new scholarship that supports students working toward careers in the wine industry. The agribusiness lender made the announcement today at the Wine Business Institute Research Summit held at Sonoma State University in Rohnert Park. The first $5,000 scholarship can be awarded to an undergraduate student of the Wine Business Institute in the School of Business and Economics for the 2019-2020 academic year. To be eligible, students must declare a major in Business Administration with a Concentration in Wine Business Strategies, be enrolled full time, and demonstrate their desire to advance the wine industry. Recipients may qualify for a second $5,000 scholarship in the following academic year.
