Courtwatch: Levensohn Vineyards sues Nationwide Agribusiness for Unpaid Smoke Taint Claim

A Napa Valley wine producer whose 2017 crop was suffered smoke taint damage is suing its crop insurance company for denying its $1.14 million claim, according to the complaint. Levensohn Vineyards LLC, a winery owned by Pascal and Melanie Levensohn, alleges Nationwide Agribusiness Insurance Co., denied its claim in April even though the winery complied with all the conditions.
