Last month, inspectors from the Food Standards Agency obtained a shipment in Coventry of thousands of bottles of sparkling wine that had been wrongly labelled as prosecco. The FSA wine inspection team, led by Mark Dawson, discovered that the wine had been produced in Moldova but classified as though it'd been sourced from the northeast of Italy, where prosecco is made.

Called Open Source, the four Chardonnays were tasted along with seven other reds and whites (and roses) from each of the four wineries. Per a story written in April, they began this effort by blending a half-ton of Chardonnay grapes from each of their vineyards and then letting the four winemakers produce that wine in their own style, amounting to a barrel apiece. After Sunday, each of the wineries will have its Open Source Chardonnay available for purchase in its tasting room.
