WSWA Launches New Convention Website and Opens Registration for 71st Annual Convention & Exposition

(WASHINGTON, D.C.)— Register today to take part in the Wine & Spirits Wholesalers of America (WSWA) 71st Annual Convention & Exposition, the wine and spirits industry’s premier event. A newly-launched convention website ( is now available and provides a direct link to the registration portal. This industry-leading showcase and event will be held April 8-10 at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas.

Convention highlights include three information-rich general sessions with speakers like noted business and motivation consultant Dan Heath of Duke University’s CASE Center and Captain Richard Phillips subject of the current motion picture featuring Tom Hanks in the starring role. Attendees and exhibitors will also enjoy exclusive networking and socializing at the Taste of the Industry grand tasting and the Opening Night Reception.


The WSWA 71st Annual Convention & Exposition features a host of opportunities for suppliers, importers and exporters, as well as beverage industry product and service providers. Exhibitors can showcase their offerings to help launch, build and grow brands by reserving space in the Exhibit Halls, Lower Level or Traditional Hospitality Suites.


Brands, suppliers, wholesalers and mixologists can spotlight the best and brightest at one of the five hot competition and tasting events including: the Wine & Spirits Tasting Competition, Call for Cocktails Mixology Competition, Wholesaler Iron Mixologist Competition, the Hoptails Mixology Competition featuring beer and spirits together as cocktail ingredients, and the new Beer Tasting Competition.

Competitions are hosted in partnership with The Tasting Panel magazine, the country’s most important and fastest-growing beverage industry publication, reaching over 100,000 hospitality professionals each month. Competitions are emceed by the talented Tony Abou-Ganim, a noted mixologist, speaker and author.


The schedule also includes the U.S. Beverage Alcohol Forum, an information-rich program that will provide attendees with practical knowledge and resources to succeed in the U.S. beverage market.
